Did another stupid newbie thing on 'Shabbat. I put my freshly baked GF rolls onto the old bread board, without thinking. I think one of the rolls got cross contaminated because I got sick about an hour or so after dinner.

My husband blames himself for not thinking, but I didn't either. So today he has cleaned it all out ( this is a special board for slicing homeade bread and comes with a special carbon steel knife, I got at an art show and it was pretty pricey so I am not wanting to throw ...

When we got home yesterday after

taking a ride up to the mountains to see the fall colors, I was going to make

something on the grill, but it got so late I decided to make something from

leftovers from Erev Shabbat. So I took the left over chicken, and the brown and

wild rice I had cooked with it and cut up the chicken and put it in the steamer

with the rice. Then I cut up some broccoli to add in the last few minutes to

What Gluten and Trief have in common

When I first started going GF, I

realized this was very much like cleaning for Passover; it also is like

watching out whatever and wherever you eat for treif! It is in so many

unsuspecting places, and can hid under different names that it takes a full time

detective to ferret it all out!

So I have started this thread to put any and all hidden treif and Gluten

products out there to save others pain and trouble and of course the commodity

we never have enough of, TIME!
