Cook the rice with the sugar and vinegar for 15 minutes on medium heat.

Remove from the heat and allow to cool.

Once the rice is completely cooled, you can shape with your hands, or use forms to make shapes.

right now I am making some Manischewitz potato pancakes, because they are convenient, kosher and GF and MSG free. It calls for two large eggs but my eggs were larger so the mix was a bit watery. So I decided to add some potato flour ( not starch) to them to help firm it up.

Then I got to thinking I wonder if I could make potato pancakes with just the flour? Or a combo of the potato flour and some potato flakes? Would it be the same as the mix? I looked on Bob's red mill site briefly to ...

I had gotten some wonderful broccoli at my local organic farm market and knew I couldn't use it all up in a stir fry so pondered what else I could make with it. Since we were having company for Shabbat I decided on trying my hand at making a Broccoli soup. I've never had it before so did not know how to approach it but started by making a cheese sauce as you would for mac and cheese

8 oz seriously sharp cheddar shredded

1-2 cups milk

cornstarch

butter

Mix together 1 cup of chickpea ( garbanzo bean) flour or Garbanzo/fava bean flour with chosen seasonings below

Add some garlic powder if you are making savory crepes ( to use with meat or cheese filling) or if sweet filling you can add some nutmeg or cardomon if you are using fruit, very good! If savory S& P can be added , if sweet, just a pinch of salt.

How you say, when Tabouleh is synonymous with Wheat? Actually the word means bulgar wheat in Lebanese. It is a widely made salad in the Middle east, including Israel. But since it is made of wheat we can't have it. I always favored making this for Shabbat luncheon as it was simple but refreshing and could accompany any Dairy or meat dish. Also it serves to make a nice meal if you have any vegetarians at your table. But what to do now that you have Celiac or wheat allergy?

Make it from Quinoa! ...

What a versatile recipe! You can make this a side dish in

a casserole, or with more water , a soup, or less water, you can form it into burgers!

Most have tried the non meat burgers, such as boca burgers or Morning star sausages not made with meat but with soy. We used to have these all the time before being diagnosed. But that came to a quick end when the ingredients revealed modified food starch and wheat as flavorings. So this may be a wonderful alternative. I will give below the ...

Repeat until you have all you want.

In the frying pan put about 2 Tbs of oil. Stir fry. When the cabbage starts to looking a different green add your soy sauce and about 1 Tbs of sugar. Continue until the cabbage is done.

I have come up with a substitue that some may enjoy. This is vegetarian, but not vegan.

I did not have fresh stuff for the 'use fresh' other than the Avocado, so I used a package by Fuego to season my Guac. I also added in slightly more salt, I added in a little lemon juice (the kind from the store) and I put a dash of garlic in. I also don't have peppers here and can't find Cilantro.
