Alnavit Organic and Vegan fruit bars

My husband went to "DM" (Drogerie Markt) in a city near ours and found this cool Organic/Vegan/Gluten free Apple Cinnamon bar.
He snuck it into my bag and I ate one today, the ingredients are as follows:

Apple rings, sultan raisins, rice flour, almonds, dates, agave nectar, cinnamon - all from organic sources. It has the gluten free and vegan symbols on them.

Apparently these are the only ones they make right now, but I have to say they definitely beat most GF/Vegan bars hands down! LOL

Each bar is 40g, and the nutritional data is recorded by 100g.

Calories 1.386 kJ (331 kcal)
Protein 5,2 g
Carbohydrates 57,7 g
Fat 8,8 g


Not so bad!
Apparently they're quality controlled in a GF environment where everything is made from organic products and are overseen by the GF Society in Stuttgart.
They haven't heaps and heaps of items, but thus far if this is any indication of what they do have, we're doing good!

They sound similar to the Think bars here. I just picked up a think green on last night, will let you know what it tastes like when I try it! These are great to have in your purse for emergencies when you are away from home and no safe food around!

Definitely! I'll be getting more of these to keep on hand!
