| Subject: Organic Grilled Cheese Puffs - Snikiddy snacks - Review Wed May 14, 2008 10:25 pm | |
| I gave up on eating any corn based cheese puffs or curls because of all the other stuff in them. so when I came across these I was thrilled to pieces, since I am a corn curl-a-holic, and so is my dog!
These are certified Organic first off and they are Kosher, Kof K
The brand name? Snikiddy snacks
They are Baked Corn Puffs. And have two adorable children on the bag. There's a website for you kids if they are Celiacs too where they can play games, and do activities, and read stories, check out Snikiddy.com
they do warn that they are processed in a facility that does wheat so be warned but they have Gluten free on the front, so the product itself is Gf.
They also claim No trans fats wheat free no hydrogenated oils no preservatives, no GMO's no corn syrup
Those last two are impressive to me, as those can cause many a health problem.
Grab a bag today and enjoy!
They also have Mac and Cheese puffs, Pizza Pie and Rockin Ranch Puffs too! _________________

| OK, here's the review
Even though the bag says, from 2 to 102 , I would say these are more for the little ones. The snacks are very tiny, about 1/2" to not quite 3/4", that is fairly small. Would be good for little ones, but not sure about the choking factor.
To me, they are mor 'buttery' than 'cheesy' and you would have to eat them a handful at a time to get any real flavor going in your mouth. Not too salty at first, but after having them a bit I find that is the only taste left in my mouth, the salt. I tried them on my cheese puff loving dog and she ate a few, didn't exactly beg for more. So they are Ok and we know healthy but flavorwise could use some improvement.
$2.79 for a 4.0 oz bag _________________
