GOOD GRAVY!!! -- Roads End Organics
Mon Feb 18, 2008 1:45 pm by Bete'avon!
Very Happy

Gone are the days when we could use a mix for quick gravy to pour on our mashed potatoes, or so I thought.

Shopping the tiny, 5' section of GF products in my local grocery store I came upon this, and was so thrilled because it met all three of our criteria!

Gluten free
Organic
And Kosher in as far as it is vegan.........

Brand name, Road's End Organics, I picked up the Organic Golden Gravy mix and the Organic shitaki mushroom gravy mix.

No MSG or Preservatives!

Quick Cooking!

Ingredients for golden gravy

Organic -- Brown rice flour,Tapioca Starch, Tamari Powder, Onion powder,Garlic powder, regular salt, Nutritional Yeast ( PASSOVER WARNING!)

The mushroom gravy mix is same ingredients plus dried shitake mushrooms

NOTE:
The Tamari sauce contains soy for those intolerant!

You just add 1 cup of water to it in a saucepan and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for one minute and then serve.

I haven't tried it yet but when I do I will let you know about the taste!

It is a product of Edward & Sons and is Certified Organic by the OAI
