RTE - Ready to Eat Kosher GF meals
Wed Nov 07, 2007 6:08 pm by Bete'avon!
Years ago when I discovered kosher meals to go I was estatic! Now I could travel, or even picnic with hot food at the park or at an non Kosher event with out starving! Some were'nt so hot, but I did particulary like La Briute's spaghetti and meatballs. I did have to order these direct and it saved if you ordered a certain amount, thus you needed a certain amount in your bank account. Wink But recently I found them in my local market, after now being GF!
What a disappointment, the lose of convienence and now acceccability to get them, down the drain!
But never fear, I keep searching.
And look what I found!

MOM!!! = My Own Meals!

Complete, fully cooked gluten free meals in minutes!! Just microwave or boil and voila! Great for travelling; no refrigeration needed.

They have five that are Kosher GF!

Now they don't have the convienience of the heating element that LaBruite had ( a chemical reaction in the heating tray where you could heat this anywhere, and even at home if the lights went out) , but still it is handy.

Best thing about them is you can take them on travel to a relatives that you don't trust to cook for you ,Wink or if you are invited out to eat at a certain resturant that doesn't do GF or Kosher but you have to go because of friends or business, just bring it along and ask the waitress to heat it in the microwave for you but don't open it, you do that at the table. Thus allowing for no cross contamination of Gluten or non Kosher.Shocked
