| I've always had a penchant for hazelnut coffee, but you know that they contain some artificial flavors and these can contain gluten. So in search of brands that are Gluten free I have started this thread. Please post any info you have here about any flavored coffees CCL's ( Coeliac coffee lovers) will love you for it!

| From another celiac forum I found this, not sure how reliable it is as it gave no direct info from the companys. - Quote :

| Someone did contact Folgers, they shamelessly promoted themselves and gave a little GF info. - Quote :
- Thanks for contacting Folgers,
Our coffees are 100% pure coffee. Since coffee has no nutritional value, there's no significant amount of calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, sodium, or potassium. In fact, one serving of brewed coffee contains less than 5 calories. There is no gluten at all in any Folgers version.
We use natural and artificial flavorings in our flavored Ground and Whole Bean versions. You'll get a smooth coffee taste, with just a hint of flavor. The best part is that the flavorings don't affect the nutritional content of the coffee; there are no additional calories, carbohydrates, alcohol or sugars.
If you prefer decaf coffee, it might help to know we only use pure water and natural ingredients for decaffeination. So, you can have all of the flavor, without all the caffeine!
I hope this information helps!

| From what i've been reading it seems to be prudent and safe to just buy regular roasted coffee and add your own flavorings that you know for sure are GF. There are some wonderful ones that are and also organic! Natures Flavorings - Organic, Kosher, Vegan and GF!
The great thing about these flavorings is you can use them in baking and making ice cream too! | |

| This one is definatly not GF! I tried it twice and both times got sick. I have tried their Regular unflavored French Roast and had no problem. Right now I am drinking 8'oclock Columbian, not so great in flavor, but no problems so far. If I want a little extra flavor I add some GF organic hazelnut extract, such as flavororganics, which is Kof certified Kosher , organic, Non GMO and GF. this is a little pricy to do it this way, there may be coffee syrups out there that are K and GF , I will have to do a search, meanwhile if you know of any hazelnut GF coffees, let us know! | |
