Well the stores are filling up with Passover items, even though 'Easter' is near but Passover is 6 weeks away. I snagged three bags of Manischewitz' marshmellows, not being sure about their 'artificial flavoring'. But I checked a few blogs out there and some list them as ok for us.

I will have to find out. I am still recovering from a chocolate covered raisin I ate on Shabbat. Embarassed It must have had a coating of flour on the raisin because all the ingredients were ok and no Gluten was listed as an allergen, guess not all companies are this careful. Sad

So does anyone have a solid ok that they are GF?

Also why marshmellows at Passover? I never get that?Hmm thinking

The good thing about the KLP Marshmellows are that they're corn free. I'd have to check with my mom as to which brand it was she found for my dad. There's a couple for the taking in and around my old area that were really good.

I got to looking and don't get marshmellows unless they specifically list their source of gelatin as kosher fish gelatin or beef... I wish I had kept that package from the last time we ordered from the Aviv folks! I tend to make things like sweet potato casserole during pesach since we can have it, and it's technically a dessert AND a veggie... it's good to do half with marshmallow and half with sugar, flour and pecans. Wink You never know who will prefer what....

Another thought is so many folks do like marshmellows in their hot chocolate (me! ME!! me!!!)

I got more bags, and even found mini ones, I've never seen these before, not sure if they're new or my store just never had them before, either way, I am happy to have found them. Now I know what to do with that puffed rice cereal I can't stand,

krisped Rice treats! cheers lol!
