The Budget Celiac Empty
PostSubject: The Budget Celiac   The Budget Celiac EmptySun Dec 30, 2007 5:01 am

I came across this site and thought it might be useful to all those on a budget or trying to save a little with the added expense of going GF.

There are GF mixes you can make yourself found here

Such as

  1. Gluten Free Baking Powder
  2. Gluten Free Bread machine mix
  3. GF Chocolate Pudding Mix
  4. Gluten-Free Flour Mix
  5. Flour Mix #2
  6. GF Muffin Mix
  7. GF Pizza Dough Mix in a Jar
  8. GF Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix
  9. Gluten Free Pancake Mix
  10. WF Cornbread Mix in a Jar
  11. WF Sugar Cookie Mix in a Jar
Also Bette Hagman the GF Gourmet has some which I will share later

I myself, once I find a recipe I like , when measuring all the ingredients to make a batch, I measure all the dry for another and mix it well then put in a mason jar and label it with what wet ingredients need to be added and the baking instructions, so next time I want to make it , it's a breeze! Great to give as gifts to GF friends and family, tie on a ribbon and use a pretty recipe card to fill out the whole recipe so they can make it again if they like!
