Opposite the online sites, this thread is to list Stores products, or market places that have a signifigant GF area worth a shopping trip to check out.

Remember these are not exclusive Kosher food only establishments so all products must be checked for Kosher certification.

How often are the lists updated?

The lists are updated weekly. We update immediately if an item has changed from gluten free to not gluten free, or lactose free to not lactose free. It is important to always recheck labels and ingredients on the foods you are purchasing as ingredients can change.

PostSubject: Return to Eden   Wed Oct 17, 2007 2:04 am

This store is great, if you are on their mailing list, you get an email every week on the items they have available, you can let them know if you want info on kosher and GF items... the only issue is that they do not sell online, and you have to be in/around the Atlanta area to shop.

They do GF tours, and have GF cooking lessons. Next time I'm in the area, we are DEFINITELY hitting up this store!

Quote :
Are your products kosher?

When a particular product is kosher, it will be labeled as such. We
keep on file documentation of kosher status for our private label
products. Whole Foods Market is not privy to or responsible for kosher
certification of local, regional or national products not manufactured
under our auspices.

Just to let you know what they make at that bakery, so you can drool a bit before going. Razz

Now I could find no Kosher certification, but a look at the ingredients you can see which would be and which would not be. The pizza crust sadly has gelatin in it. But other products seem to be kosher ingredients.

Hamburger Buns

Water, rice flour, tapioca starch, butter, eggs, milk, sugar, yeast, xanthan gum, salt.

I will note which ones I find non Kosher ingredients in with an asterisk*
